The Design is not just a visual, but you can't see the design without the visual. The Design is something you can see, touch or hear.
The main idea of my philosophy is the search for balance. I love reading articles about design, user experience design, interface design, graphic design and branding, etc. And in each article, I see how the author focuses on the kind of design that he/she represents. If an article is written by a researcher, then he/she emphasizes how important research is. If the article is written by a UX writer, then we see how important the right wording and calls to action are in interfaces. But everything cannot be the most important. If everything is important then nothing is important. Each stage in the design should be in its place. Each project is different, and even the task in the project is different from the task that was before it. Therefore, it is important for me to find a balance between each stage in the design. I know how to do research, I have done it many times, but I like to work with data that was collected for me by someone. No hypothesis or data makes any sense if it is not transformed into visible things. For me, translating ideas into visible things is the most important thing. With all this, I do not strive for beauty for the sake of beauty, fashion for the sake of fashion. My ambition is based on user experience.
‘User Experience’ is an experience with a product that the user saw, touched or heard.

As Personality
In this section, you can learn more about Ivan Yemelianov as a person. In life, Ivan is not only a product designer, but also a husband and father of four children, one son and three daughters.
From early childhood, Ivan was fascinated by hip-hop culture. Thanks to what he tried himself in all manifestations of it. He danced breakdance and even participated in competitions. For about five years he was a member and sound producer of a rap group. But most of all Ivan was fascinated by graffiti. Creativity has always been part of Ivan's personality. Despite the fact that most of the drawings remained on paper, this hobby became one of the first sources of income. Ivan painted the walls of several computer clubs and clothing stores.
In his student years, Ivan studied at the Faculty of Law, but quickly realized that this was not for him. Then he tried to study management and again realized that this was not what he wanted to do. Ivan did not perceive his passion for creativity as an opportunity to earn money. However, he went to study Graphic Design at a computer academy. A year later, for the sake of interest, he tried to take freelance projects. Already half a year after the start of his freelance career, he received an offer from the design studio Vlad IT.
At that time in 2008 (the beginning of a design career), Ivan was still creating music and performing on stage. He thought that this was his calling and design was just a side job, paying bills and renting a music studio. However, the rap group naturally ceased to exist. The passion to create music was no longer so ardent. But the design remained. The interest in creating designs with meaning aroused more and more enthusiasm. And what was once a side job became the main activity for Ivan.
Ivan is not the kind of person who will go along with the crowd. History has shown many times how the majority can be mistaken. Practicality, consistency and applicability in real life are the main points in Ivan's life philosophy. First question is: ‘How practical is what they offer me?’ The second question: ‘Is this proposal logical and consistent? Isn't it just an emotional moment?’ Third question is: ‘To what extent is it applicable, can I apply it in my life with benefit?’
Ivan loves to learn and teach others. Because Ivan is a teacher by education. He applies his philosophical approach to education and self-education.
