About Project
Melitopol Prodmash is a major Ukrainian producer of bottling lines and its individual blocks
In 2017, Melitopol Prodmash experienced not the best times. The company had the intention to conduct a full rebranding, abandon the name MelitopolProdmash, which has a certain Soviet connotation, and continue to work under the new name Ukrainian Bottling Lines. BUT! and here the most interesting begins, it was too risky to immediately abandon the name of Melitopol Prodmash, since the company had a certain customer base. Therefore, especially for customers loyal to the MelitopolProdmash brand, it was decided to redesign the old website, simplifying its structure as much as possible, and focus on the new brand Ukrainian Bottles Lines.
Initially, there was only one page with a list of equipment. It was a page with only five pieces of equipment. Also, at the very beginning, the promotion of the website was not planned. The news page was only there to show that it was still a running business.

Two years later, the list of manufactured equipment of the enterprise grew almost 8 times to 38 pieces of equipment. An article section has been added to allow the website to be promoted in search engines.

The challenge
The main problem of the old website
Visually, the design of the website looked very outdated, especially for 2017.
This moment negatively affected the perception of the company. In addition to the appearance, the website had problems with the structure. It is necessary to dilute the text with visual materials not only for the sake of a beautiful picture, but also for more convenient perception of information. At that time, the website was filled with only textual information and very weak visuals.
Taking high-quality photographs of huge equipment was something unrealistic. As a result, the best solution was to make 3D models of each piece of equipment. This work was carried out by a third party contractor hired specifically for this project.
The decision was made to make the website modern, moderately discreet, while adding visual materials that would help increase the perception of the products.

Equipment
Initially, a minimum of information was planned. The equipment was supposed to go just a list with a small description. After the launch of the site with a new design, the level of interest in MelitopolProdmash increased markedly, despite the fact that the company did not conduct any advertising campaigns. As a result, it was decided to expand the range of equipment, and in order to promote the site, each equipment acquired its own page with a detailed description.

The redesign of the MelitopolProdmash website and the further promotion of the website helped the company enter new markets. And despite the fact that the company has rebranded, MeltopolProdmash had brought divedends for 3 years... before the war in Ukraine.
